A Surprise Proposal

This engagement session was like none other that I have done, because it was going to be a surprise! The groom-to-be contacted me and asked if I could photograph his proposal to his girlfriend, and of course I was excited! Having both gone to and graduated from Iowa State University, he planned to propose to her on campus. When I arrived, I wandered around taking random pictures while I waited. Then I saw them! Oh my goodness, it was so sweet and beautiful to watch this surprise proposal, and I'm so grateful I had the opportunity to capture that for this lovely couple! And even though it was hot and humid, I had a wonderful time getting to know them and take their pictures. They didn't need much prompting, those smiles were real and genuine! 
Such an exciting time in these two young people's life! Congratulations Dylan and Ashley, and Scout! This is just the beginning of a brand new adventure!
