Published in Gothesque Jr.. and we got the Cover Story!!

SO Excited to finally be able to share "Sleeping Bueaty" published in the December 2015 Issue of Gothesque Jr. Magazine! Congrats to my wonderful team, Angie, Sydney, and Abi! I couldn't have done this without you, and I'm so glad I have you as friends and associates! We work so well together, and it's paying off for all of us! Way to go, this is so exciting! We've been practically bursting at the seams keeping this set to ourselves!!
I found a great location in Nevada, The Berry Patch Farm to take the pictures, and thought the color purple would be a great theme to work with. Thank you to Angie Van Dyke Olson for finding a superb dress and Abi Warner for your excellent hair and makeup :) I was able to create a cute little floral crown for our sleeping beauty, and her enchanted rose came straight from my wedding bouquet! After about a week's worth of photo editing, and concept writing, I was ready to send in the final piece. Enchanting Charm

Bathed golden light amid the trees
A maiden fair, she feels the breeze
The fruit born red beneath her arm
Will not append her with his charm
While something beckons, come to me
She leaves her post and wanders free
What’s this? She finds a burning rose
A beauty midst the pumpkin rows
To pluck it seems too harsh a test
It calls to her, she cannot wrest
Caress and smell, this sweet new thing
Forget your woes, take flight and sing
A trick, well played, has cast a spell
Sweet maiden what’s this lonesome knell
The leaves bear round and catch her fall
To carry her quickly past the wall
The orchard waits upon the hill
They lay her gently, soft and still
And beauty thus in sleeping takes,
Awaits a kiss before she wakes
