I had so much fun with this gorgeous aspiring model and her mom for a beautiful Southern Belle themed art session! Apart from being ravaged by mosquitos ;) If I had a choice, I would definitely do fine art sessions every day! A huge thank you to Angie and the lovely Sydney for letting me be a part of your journey!
What a privilege it is to be a wedding photographer :) I had so much fun with this lovely, creative couple! They were married at the zoo! So I got to get up close and personal with the giraffes too, and it was amazing! What an incredible experience, I couldn't believe how many times I was almost in tears, it was just so beautiful. You could truly feel the love between Kristina and Kyle as they shared their vows and first dance as husband and wife. Thank you so much for letting me part of your special day. I am so honored to have been able to record your wedding for you to cherish together for many many years to come :)
There are some moments in childhood that are just purely magical. One of these, especially for my sons, is seeing bubbles flow out of the end of a special wand and float away on the wind. Being a photographer mom, I'm always looking for opportunities to create art with my children, and so on this particular evening, I took them out to a spot I love. In the middle of corn country, you can always find long roads that disappear into the horizon. And this is where the magic happened :)
There is nothing more fun than a big family! I had a very enjoyable time taking portraits of the lovely Gabrielson family, Having grown up in a big family myself, it was nice to see all of the grandkids with grandma and grandpa. It must be so wonderful and amazing for them to be surrounded by their posterity, and I'm sure everyone of those precious children bring them a lot of joy :) Thank you very much to the Gabrielson family for letting me be a small part of your memories!
I have been waiting a very long time to meet these two sweet little boys! And I've been so excited for their portraits. It's not uncommon to get peed and pooped on during a newborn session, but I have to say, these two little guys were perfect angels until almost the end! They loved to snuggle, they were very calm and sweet, and I was very impressed by how well they let us pose them :) I admit, part of the reason I do newborn photography is selfish, I love babies! And I love having new little ones visit me. Their momma was so calm and collected, and the way she managed both boys was amazing to me! It seemed so effortless, I was in awe. You could just feel how much she loves those precious boys, and trust me, they absolutely adore her as well. What a fantastic experience! I'm so so fortunate to have been a part of this family's journey. It's a special profession that allows you to help create memories for families that will last them a lifetime. It's so important to have portraits to remind you of these special, once in a lifetime experiences. And I am glad that is my job :)
