SO Excited to finally be able to share "Sleeping Bueaty" published in the December 2015 Issue of Gothesque Jr. Magazine! Congrats to my wonderful team, Angie, Sydney, and Abi! I couldn't have done this without you, and I'm so glad I have you as friends and associates! We work so well together, and it's paying off for all of us! Way to go, this is so exciting! We've been practically bursting at the seams keeping this set to ourselves!! I found a great location in Nevada, The Berry Patch Farm to take the pictures, and thought the color purple would be a great theme to work with. Thank you to Angie Van Dyke Olson for finding a superb dress and Abi Warner for your excellent hair and makeup :) I was able to create a cute little floral crown for our sleeping beauty, and her enchanted rose came straight from my wedding bouquet! After about a week's worth of photo editing, and concept writing, I was ready to send in the final piece. This is a little project I gave myself this past week. I call it "Snow on Main Street". When I was a kid, I was obsessed with the Newsies. For some reason, I had the thought the other day that it would be fun to dress my boys up as newsies and take them to Main Street in town for some pictures. I figured there were to only going to be a handful of days left to do this, so I dug through my old clothes to find the hat and scarf, did a little shopping for a similar hat and off to Main Street we went :) I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them!     This is so exciting! I've been published again! This time in Expressions Magazine!! i was so hoping this set would make it to print because it was very beautiful and such a great team effort! Thank you to Sydney Olson, Angie Van Dyke Olson, Kody Olson, Abi Warner, and Agnes Dudas for helping make it happen!
I'm pretty sure we got lucky and this was the last really nice day of fall! Little Amelia looked absolutely gorgeous in her twirl worthy white dress, and we sure had a fun time taking her pictures! It's hard to pose when there is sunshine and so many beautiful leaves to twirl in, but she did great! Thank you sweet girl for letting me have a chance to take your perfect portraits! And thanks to mom for your patience and help! ;)
